1. Introduction Welcome to Slice of Heaven ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our website.

2. Use of Website You agree to use the website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others.

3. Product Information 3.1 We strive to provide accurate descriptions of our products. However, slight variations may occur as our products are handmade. 3.2 All products are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to discontinue or change items without notice.

4. Ingredients 4.1 All baked goods, fillings, and icings may contain, or come into contact with, soy, wheat, dairy, nuts, or other allergens. 4.2 It is the responsibility of the Customer to inform us prior to the confirmation of their order of any allergy issues. It is the responsibility of the Customer to inform their guests of all allergy information accordingly. As all allergy information is provided, we will not be held liable for any allergic reaction resulting from consumption of the baked goods. 4.3 All products are best eaten at room temperature and within 4 days of receiving. They should be stored in an airtight container. Our Rocky Roads can be kept for up to 7 days. Our Brownies, Blondies, Cookies, and Shortbreads are freshly made to order and can be frozen for up to 3 months. Defrost before consuming.

5. Ordering and Payment 5.1 By placing an order, you agree to purchase the products listed in your order, subject to these Terms. 5.2 Prices are listed in GBP and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Delivery charges are additional and clearly stated at checkout. 5.3 Payment must be made at the time of placing the order through the payment methods provided on the website. 5.4 Event orders must be placed at least fourteen (14) days before the needed date, as we are continually booked in advance. We will, however, endeavour, where availability permits, to accept short notice orders. 5.5 Any products ordered from a picture or photo of a product produced by any other cake maker can only be reproduced by us as our interpretation of that product and will NOT be an exact reproduction of the product in the picture or photo. 5.6 Cash payments are not accepted for any order being sent by post. Any orders placed for local collection or delivery should be discussed directly with us beforehand if local, or paid in full at checkout if being posted. Should you proceed with this payment method without adhering to the policy above, your order will be cancelled. 5.7 Bespoke orders will incur a 5% surcharge per planned change.

6. Quotations 6.1 All quotations are valid for 7 days from the date of issue.

7. Deposits 7.1 For all cakes that are picked up locally, a 50% deposit will be required. 7.2 Where we have delivered what is quoted and invoiced, but the Customer does not accept the finished Product, the deposit WILL NOT be refunded. The Customer can choose to pay the remainder and take the Product/s, or leave them at no extra cost.

8. Delivery 8.1 We offer delivery for certain destinations. Delivery is charged at our discretion. 8.2 Delivery will be carried out in a safe and appropriate manner. Once delivered to the customer and change of hands has been completed with the product in appropriate condition, it is then up to the customer to store and care for the cake as per our instructions. If anything is to happen to the cake after this exchange, we are not liable for any damages. 8.3 A delivery date and time will be agreed by both parties. If the customer is not at the location at this time and date, and we are not able to contact the customer, the product will be transported back to our premises, and it will be the customer’s responsibility to collect the product.

9. Returns and Refunds 9.1 Due to the perishable nature of our products, returns are not accepted. However, if there is an issue with your order, please contact us within 24 hours of receipt. 9.2 Refunds or replacements may be provided at our discretion in cases of defective or damaged products.

10. Refunds, Cancellations, and Postponements 10.1 If cancellation of the order is required, and you have paid your full balance, the refund policy is as follows:

• If the cancellation is up to one (1) month in advance of your event date, you will receive a refund, less your initial deposit and the cost of any supplies already purchased for your order.

• If the cancellation is less than seven (7) days prior to your event, there will be absolutely no refunds given. 10.2 Refunds will be paid within 30 days of cancellation. 10.3 If, for any reason, the event is required to be postponed, please contact us immediately. The new date proposed will be subject to availability.

11. Publication 11.1 We reserve the right to use any image of a Product made by us for publication at a later date.

12. Return of Hired Equipment 12.1 Deposits are taken for all equipment. All equipment must be returned on the agreed date, or extra charges may be levied to cover hire costs. Any damages to equipment will incur a reduction of the deposit returned to cover costs of repair or replacement.

13. Pickup and Damage 13.1 If a third party will be collecting the cake on the customer’s behalf, a release form is to be signed by that person, stating the cake is received in good condition at the time of pickup/delivery. 13.2 The Customer is liable for any damage, accident, or mishap that may occur once the cake is released from the care and custody of the Supplier. The Supplier is not liable for any damage that may occur thereafter.

14. Intellectual Property 14.1 All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and designs, is the property of Slice of Heaven or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. 14.2 You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without our prior written consent.

15. Limitation of Liability 15.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or products. 15.2 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraudulent misrepresentation.
